The economic calender will light this week with only a few economic reports released. Monday The Treasury announces the amount of 3yr & 10yr notes to be auctioned later this week, with the 3yr on Wednesday and the 10yr on Thursday. The level of demand and the amount purchased from abroad will be closely watched. Tuesday we receive chain store sales data and Consumer Credit information. The FOMC minutes from the March 18 Fed meeting will be released on Wednesday. These detailed notes on the discussion at the meeting often reveal additional insight into the Fed's actions. Jobless claims, Import Prices and the Trade Balance will come out on Thursday the 9th rounding out the week.
