Not exactly, it’s a well know fact that ah.. Well it is not a well know fact, unfortunately! When an online lending site gathers your information, they send it to half a dozen or more lenders. In result, these lenders each pull your credit report.
Each time your credit report is pulled, you credit is dinged one to five points. This can cause problems, especially for those who are on the cusp to begin with. A lower credit score results in more money out of your pocket.
